Here at Nimblewhit we breed
on average two litters a year. We devote much of our time on the puppies and their new
owners. Whenever geography allows, we prefer prospective owners to visit us at least once
before taking the puppy to the new home. This visit is, of course, without obligations,
both for the potential puppy buyer and ourselves. The puppies grow up in the kitchen, and
get accustomed to the sounds in the house, and to people who drop by.

A springer puppy must get
used to being handled on a table. Therefore we train them for this here, and each puppy is
stood on our trimming table once a day. We recommend this to be continued in their new
home.
The puppies are ready to leave their nest at eight weeks as the earliest. Then they are
insured, registered with the Norwegian Kennel Club, hold a veterinary certificate and are
properly inoculated. We follow the rules of breeding drawn by the Norwegian Spaniel Club.
From this follows, among other things, that all animals bred from are x-rayed and
diagnosed as free from hip dysplasia and carry a clear eye certificate. We have worked out
our own puppy buyers guide with words and advice about this and that.
We are always at service
teaching grooming, training and giving advice on raising your springer.
ADVICE IS, OF COURSE, WILLINGLY SHARED WHENEVER REQUIRED!
